OpenVPN on SNOM VoIP Phone
In order to set up OpenVPN on a SNOM phone you need to first make sure that your SNOM phone supports OpenVPN, because not all SNOM phones support OpenVPN. We suggest using the SNOM Wik to verify that your phone is supported.
It is suggested for most situations that you will need to disable auto provisioning. In order to disable auto provisioning the settings are located under "Advanced" > "Update". Set "Update Policy: to "Never update, do not load settings". Set "Subscribe Config:" and "PnP Config:" to off.
Start by loading the VPN firmware from the SNOM Wik page. A reboot will be required.

Next you will have to enable the VPN by going to "Advanced" > "QoS/Security" and selecting on, then reboot.
Request a "SNOM .TAR configuration file" by opening a support ticket.
Now paste in the link to the .TAR file under "Advanced" "QoS/Security" in the "Unzipped VPN config tarball:"

If you have a computer that you can run netcat on it can be helpfull to watch the VPN connect in order to diginose any connection problems.
